Editorial screening is usually within a week. Full peer review typically takes three to six weeks, depending on reviewer availability.

Do I need patient consent?

Yes, for any case report or clinical image concerning an identifiable person. See Publication Ethics.

Can I submit a case already presented at a conference?

Yes. A conference abstract or poster does not count as prior publication, but declare it at submission.
